What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants (like ChatGPT or Claude) connect securely to applications. It's what allows your assistant to work with your Zaptime account right from the chat.
Which assistants are supported?
ChatGPT, Claude and any other client that supports MCP. The list of MCP-enabled clients keeps growing.
Which plan includes the integration?
The MCP integration is available on paid Zaptime accounts. Just sign in and connect.
Can the AI create a booking for a customer?
No, by design. The assistant finds and shares the right booking link, but the customer always finishes the booking on your booking page. That way bookings are only ever created where they should be.
Can the assistant change my Zaptime settings?
Yes. Beyond answering questions, it can create and edit booking pages, weekly schedules, days off, automation workflows, email templates, branding and custom domains. It only ever acts within your account's permissions, and you can revoke access anytime.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Zaptime only passes the assistant the data needed to answer your request. Your reservations are never used to train models.
